It does seem pricey for something that use to be completely on the City books. You would think the city and the County might subsidize it to keep the cost down for all people in Utica, New Hartford, Oriskany, etc. Does any body know if it is opening again this year?

This may be a little late. But I worked on that park and there was snow being made for us to work with into feb and the other hills too where the could push it. The main hill was closed because the city came in there to fix the electrical lines they messed up and dug up all the drains on the hill so it would ice over. Everyone complains about the snowboarders? Really i was there everyday maybe if you stooped at the top of the hill before just going down and cutting them off there wouldn’t be a problem

Fone-Shaq gives to charity while you shop. It seems to give a tenner every time you buy a phone contract from them so I was really impressed.
They had all the same deals as all the other sties but like I say they donate every time you buy – not just phones either

Sure it cost the city money. Just like all the basketball parks and anyother park. It’s cost money to maintain. It’s cost shifting. We were sking and snowboarding during our free time rather than get in trouble. At those prices my parents could afford to pay our lift tickets whenever we could go. Now I guess the New hartford parents could afford to send kids on a regular basis. I guess thats been my point of this post. Its a public park thats WAY too expensive and mismanaged. This guy will go out of buisness because he does not understand alot of people will not pay $20 to go sking at the parkway for 3-4 hours.

I think he really wants it to be for tubes only. That is pure conjecture of course. It needs more improvements, for sure. But I think since the city was losing money on it, you were headed to Woods Valley before he rolled into town! I am pretty sure I will continue to use it as it was, price wise, at the end of their season, for my kids. – Rob

LOL they only made snow at the terrain park. How many days after FEb. was the whole hill shut down except for the terrain park. Also I did have 3 close calls trying to avoid snow boarder’s who are’nt paying attention or coming off those jumps. The terrain park was the main attraction becuse only the kids were going there on a regular basis. This guy is driving skiiers out to woodsvalley and snow ridge. Thats where i’ll be next winter

hey Aaron lifelong skier stay outa there there was plenty of room to learn to ski or snowboard to get around those jumps I wouldnt listen to you either and not seeing them make snow they were making snow in feb no other place was making snow then the terain park was the main attraction and if they come back expect nothing but one of the best in the area

I am very interested in your greenhouse setup. I have been researching about aquaponics and I am looking at adding on an addition to my house to support a greenhouse.
